Weekdays: 3 days per week (after school)

Course Description: The Art course aims to cultivate artistic skills and creativity. Students will explore various art forms, including drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art, and more.

Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate in Creative Art and Technology. Top-performing students will have the opportunity to travel abroad or participate in internships with art professionals and institutions.

Makeup Artist: Apply makeup for theatrical performances, fashion shows, photoshoots, and personal clients, specializing in creative and artistic looks.
Hair Artist: Style and design hair for fashion shows, photoshoots, and individual clients, creating innovative and trendsetting looks.
Art Teacher: Educate and inspire students in various art forms, techniques, and history, fostering their creative development.
Collage Artist: Create unique art pieces using mixed media and collage techniques, often incorporating recycled materials for sustainable art.

3D Printing
3D Print Designer: Create 3D models for fashion, art, and other applications using 3D printing technology.

Additive Manufacturing Specialist: Work in industries such as automotive, aerospace, and healthcare, using 3D printing for advanced manufacturing processes.
3D Printing Technician: Operate and maintain 3D printers, ensuring high-quality production of models and parts.
Digital Fabrication Artist: Use 3D printing to create unique, complex art pieces and installations, pushing the boundaries of traditional art forms.

Entry Requirements for the Creative Art and Technology Course
Age and Grade Level:
Applicants must be between the ages of 15 and 21.
Must be currently enrolled in grades 9-12.
Interest in Creative Arts and Technology:
Demonstrable passion and interest in creative arts (such as hair art, makeup art, and collage art) and technology (such as 3D printing).
Application Materials:
A completed application form.
A motivational video clip (up to 5 minutes) explaining why you deserve a spot in the academy and detailing your interest and experience in creative arts and technology.
A portfolio of previous creative work or projects (optional but recommended).
Academic Performance:
Satisfactory academic performance in current school subjects.
Recent school transcripts or report cards.
Personal Statement:
A written essay (500 words) describing your interest in creative arts and technology, your goals, and how the Creative Art and Technology Course at LGL Academy will help you achieve them.
Letters of Recommendation:
Two letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors, or other professionals familiar with your abilities and dedication to creative arts and technology.
Interview:
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview (in-person or virtual) to further assess their passion, commitment, and suitability for the program.
Portfolio Review:
Applicants may be required to present a portfolio of their work during the interview or submit it as part of the application process.
Commitment:
Willingness to commit to attending the after-school programme three days per week, two weekends per month, and during school holidays for the duration of one year.
