Application process for Luvuthando Girls Leadership Academy
Welcome to the application form for the Luvuthando Girls Leadership Academy! We are excited that you are interested in joining our community of passionate and driven young women. Our Academy is dedicated to nurturing and empowering talented girls in the fields of Fashion Design, Music, and Art. We provide a FREE comprehensive curriculum, mentorship, and hands-on experience to help you reach your full potential.
Application Requirements:
Eligibility: Girls must be in grades 9-12 or between the ages of 15-21.
Motivational Video: Please prepare and send a motivational video clip of up to 5 minutes on why you deserve a spot in the Academy. This video should highlight your passion, talent, and vision for the future in your chosen field of study.
Academic Records: Attach your most recent academic records.
Letters of Recommendation: Provide two letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors, or community leaders who can attest to your character and abilities.
Portfolio: Include a portfolio showcasing your work in Fashion Design, Music and Sound, or Creative Arts and Technology. This could include sketches, designs, recordings, or photographs of your artwork.
Personal Statement: Write a personal statement (300-500 words) explaining your interest in the Academy, your goals, and how you plan to use this opportunity to make a difference in your community and beyond.
Application Process:
Complete the Application Form: Fill out the online application form with all required personal and academic information.
Submit Supporting Documents: Upload your motivational video, academic records, letters of recommendation, portfolio, and personal statement.
Interview: Selected applicants will be invited for an interview with the Academy's admissions committee.
Final Selection: Successful candidates will be notified via email and will receive further instructions on the enrollment process.

Programme Duration and Attendance:
Duration: Each course runs for one year.
Attendance: Students will attend the programme three days per week after school and two weekends per month. Additional sessions will be held during school holidays to ensure comprehensive coverage of the curriculum.
